I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Fulton County School Board Seat - District 4.
As an experienced educator, I have spent the last 18 years working with students, parents, principals, and communities in a variety of capacities all with a laser-like focus on helping our students achieve equity. As parent of four children who are currently (or have attended) South Fulton Schools, I have worked closely with School Governance Councils, PTAs, and stakeholders with the common goal of helping our community. My goal is to bridge the gap between what parents see as struggles in our schools and the implementation of strong, long-term solutions. In reality, we are stronger together.
My platform is simple. In South Fulton we must put politics aside and make our children and their education our priority. Our work will center around:
supporting policies to help decrease the amount of testing our students experience
collaboratively working on literacy and mathematics strategic partnerships
partnering with existing mentorship programs to help curb youth crime
wraparound (mental health, food insecurities, homelessness) services for our students and their families
Three years ago, I rallied thousands of parents and challenged them to make our voices heard to improve schools in South Fulton. Now I need the help of parents like you who care as much about your children’s education as I care about mine. Vote for Franchesca Warren for Fulton County School District Four.

Since 2002, Franchesca Warren has advocated for equity for all students by promoting literacy as fundamental right for all students- first and foremost, as a teacher, instructional coach, Literacy Coordinator in urban districts in the metro Atlanta area and in Tennessee and as parent advocate and consultant with stakeholders around the world
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” In 2020, residents in district four in South Fulton have the ability to elect a school board member who believes in her community as being the hub point of innovation.
With that in mind, all parents in South Fulton want their children to have opportunities for a world-class education all while ‘filling the gaps’ for our students and ensuring that our kids are supported in all we do.
If you believe in District Four, join our team as a volunteer or donate to help make South Fulton strong for all stakeholders.
